The Birth of Veggy Dog & Our Healthy Dog Treats

The concept of Veggy Dog was born at the request of a professional dog groomer. She approached us with the idea of creating healthy and tasty dog treats. Our love for dogs and healthy food were the first two ingredients. We believe your fur babies deserve healthy options free of unnecessary and unhealthy ingredients; in this spirit, we invented tasty treats with limited ingredients.

Our Commitment to Good Health

Our goal is to help dog-moms and dads provide healthy snacks that are low-calorie and easy to digest. Our treats are wheat, corn, and soy-free and made with simple ingredients, including pea flour, oatmeal, chickpeas, flax meal, rice, and rye flour. Additionally, we add healthy dog-friendly ingredients for natural sweetness and flavor. Blueberries, apples, coconut, honey, and the all-time favorite, peanut butter make the treats irresistible. VeggyDog is a small, family-owned company. Arnold and Sonya met and married when they both served in the US Marines Corps. As children, they both had a passion for baking and it became one of their favorite pastimes. Now, as adults, Arnold and Sonya are still cooking up all sorts of delicious creations. Veggy Dog produces a range of healthy snacks that are wheat, corn, and soy-free. They specialize in making healthy baked treats that are just as yummy as the ones you loved as a child, but without all the sugar, corn syrup, or hydrogenated oils!
